Our pharma eBR with Zenon wins the second place at the COPA-DATA Partner Awards 2025

Appliant has been awarded second place in the Manufacturing category of the COPA-DATA Partner Awards 2025; an international recognition that celebrates technological excellence, innovation, and our commitment to developing cutting-edge solutions based on the zenon platform. This award acknowledges our presentation of the first pharmaceutical electronic Batch Record (eBR) implemented with zenon, marking a significant milestone in digital transformation for the life sciences industry.

The awards ceremony took place on 2 October during the international zenonIZE 25 event, organised in Salzburg (Austria) by COPA-DATA. This recognition consolidates Appliant as one of the most prominent partners within the global ecosystem of COPA-DATA, a world leader in industrial software and automation.

During the ceremony, we also had the pleasure of sharing the podium with Memo3 GmbH, who won first place, and RETEL Neuhausen AG, who came in third. Josef Trapl, Managing Director of Memo3 GmbH, and Stefan Hafner, member of the Board of Directors of RETEL Neuhausen AG, represented their respective companies during the awards ceremony.

Our CEO, Marc Ramoneda, emphasised that this recognition is the result of the commitment and dedication of everyone who is part of the Appliant team. ‘I couldn’t be more proud of all the Applianers who have helped me realise a dream: to deliver faster, more accessible and higher quality medicines to people,’ he said.

During the event, held on 1 and 2 October 2025, Marc Ramoneda also participated in the round table discussion ‘Manufacturing and Process Automation Matinée’, held on 1 October at 11:00 a.m.

In this session, key trends, experiences and ideas on process and manufacturing automation, considered fundamental pillars for the future of the industrial sector, were shared.

The presentation was part of a programme that included more than 20 sessions spread over two days, within an event that brought together more than 200 participants, more than 30 speakers and representatives from 90 countries. In this way, zenonIZE 25 has established itself as an international benchmark in automation, digitalisation and operational efficiency.
