We participated in the 4th edition of Ambit Meets: Tech Trends & Compliance in Life Science
We took part in the 4th edition of Ambit Meets: Tech Trends & Compliance in Life Science, an event that brought together Life Science professionals and companies in Barcelona to discuss the technological trends transforming the industry and the challenges of implementing them in highly regulated environments.
One of the highlights of the event was the panel discussion, “Operational Challenges and Scaling in the Pharma Industry,” moderated by Brismark Antoniony Díaz, where Marc Ramoneda, Founder and CEO of Appliant, participated alongside representatives from Andersen, Applus+ Laboratories, Multiplica, Agilent Technologies, and EasyVista.
During the session, we explored some of the key challenges currently facing pharmaceutical companies, including scaling organizations and processes in a context of continuous growth, improving operational efficiency through process optimization, adapting corporate strategies to an increasingly competitive and rapidly changing environment, and ensuring regulatory compliance across every stage of business operations.
The event also featured a real-world business transformation case presented by CINFA, where valuable insights and best practices from its evolution and digitalization process were shared.
Another key discussion focused on “AI in Healthcare & Pharma: From Potential to Regulatory Control,” bringing together experts from Roche, Meribel Pharma Solutions, Aizon, and Merck Group. They examined both the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and the regulatory challenges associated with its adoption in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. The discussion highlighted the importance of striking the right balance between technological innovation, safety, and regulatory compliance to ensure the responsible implementation of AI-driven solutions.
The event concluded with a collaborative workshop led by Anna Dachs Soler, PhD, designed to encourage active participation among attendees. Working in groups, participants exchanged views on the industry’s main challenges and opportunities, creating a valuable space for knowledge sharing that ended with a joint presentation of conclusions and reflections. The workshop reinforced the collaborative and innovative spirit that defines Ambit Meets and emphasized the importance of developing solutions together within the Life Science ecosystem.
